portmanteau noun port·man·teau

1. a large trunk or suitcase, typically made of stiff leather and opening into two equal parts.
2. a word blending the sounds and combining the meanings of two others.
   • consisting of or combining two or more aspects or qualities.

The goal of portmanteau is to score points by combining words together. Each new word must begin with a part of the previous word (e.g. portman and manteau). The round ends if you run out of time, or reuse a previously submitted word.

Points are allotted (or deducted) based on how many shared letters the previous and current word have.
